Our three lovlies and me spent a lovely Bank Holiday Monday with my sister in the very beautiful and relaxing coastal village of Mullaghmore in Co Sligo.
Chilling out together is so hard to beat.
We had lunch at the Pier Head Hotel, a lovely friendly place to sit back and chat, watch the world go by.
The highlight of the day was having the first ice cream cone of the year - a 99 my favourite.
The perfect place to spend a Bank Holiday.
Hope your weekend was every bit as good.

that looks like a seriously good 99 ice cream. They could teach our local beach a thing or two about quantity! Looks like some lovely scenery and walks down there too, I just had to google where it was! Thank you for linking up to Country Kids.
ReplyDeleteThank you it was good, lovely thick ice cream. We were walking along the pier and everybody we met had one so we had to join in. It's a lovely place to walk about and the beach there is quiet, a good way to spend an afternoon.
ReplyDeleteLooks a great Bank Holiday - have to say we've not had our first ice-cream yet.
ReplyDeleteAw thank you we had a lovely day walking about in between the showers of rain. It's always exciting to have the first ice cream of the year but it's so hard to get a proper one:) Hope your week is going well.
