There's nothing I enjoy more than lovely long walks along the beach and at the weekend that's where we headed for the afternoon.
The Donegal coastline stretches roughly about 770 miles so we are lucky to have some really beautiful beaches. The sun was shining and it felt great to get out, dust off the cobwebs and fill our lungs with fresh sea air.
That being said it was stormy but what can we expect from the Atlantic.

We had a lovely walk and then finished up with a delicious spot of lunch at The Gaslight Restaurant which was a great little find offering stunning views of the beach and it was a bit warmer indoors.
Saturdays are one of my favourite days of the week.

I love the beach, I so wish we had one nearer, I guess that's one downfall of living in the Midlands.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne, we definitely take it for granted at times
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, that first one has such a wonderful range of colours. I am with you all the way, I adore the beach at any time of year and really haven't been enough of late. Putting that right tomorrow as the children are back into surf club after school. Thank you for sharing on Country Kids.
